In the training methodology followed from the Pre-Season phase to the Ιn-season, we follow a wave-periodization with continuous overload and download in the intensity and in the amount of the training. The target is to keep the team at a level of 90% of maximum performance and to avoid peaks in performance which will lead us to longer periods of reduced performance. The main word in our work is Progressive Overload the gradual increase in stress on the musculoskeletal and nervous system forces the body to adapt and to go stronger .We apply in all the parameters of the physical capacity like Strength ,Speed, Aerobic and Anaerobic Training the progressive way .
The main theme in the progression as we follow is to improve performance but with minimal muscle injuries, we know that immediate performance improvement from the beginning of the year will bring about many muscle injuries so we try to improve all parameters of physical conditioning week by week and with great attention to individual improvement and which will lead us to gradual group improvement. We must never forget that the conquests of the championships and the European awards do not come easily, directly, hard work and continuity is required.
